UNIVERSITY OF BUEA (UB) FRAME STUDENTS PAY A COURTESY VISIT TO THE TOP MANAGEMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY.
On the 26th of January 2022, the University of Buea FRAME project team officially presented the FRAME students to the top management of the University. The meeting took place at the University’s board room of the Chancellery and was attended by top management officers as well as some staff of the Research, Cooperation and Business (RCB), the unit in charge of foreign corporations and students.
The UB FRAME coordinator, Prof Joyce B. M Endeley gave a brief overview of the Project and the status of mobility implementation.
The top management headed by the Vice-Chancellor had a conversation with the students to find out how they were coping in a new environment. Students were advised to concentrate on their studies, be good ambassadors of their respective countries and make Africa and the funders proud by effectively using their scholarship opportunities. They were further advised to inform the administration through the FRAME coordinator in case of any issues or difficulties.
The safety of students was reassured through instruction by the Vice-Chancellor to those concerned, to inform the Director of National Security of the presence of the FRAME students; to provide additional security if the need arises.
The entire team comprised of top management, the FRAME project team at UB, and the FRAME students.
